I give presentations on biases in and through Artificial Intelligence, i.e. on how algorithms and AI can digitally reproduce social structures with potentially disadvantageous effects on minorities. Here, I explain how such discrimination affects, amongst others, primarily women and people of color. Next to my knowledge about exclusive and unethical AI, I speak about my expertise in the intersection of gender and technology: How do gendered technology stereotypes not only influence our understanding of technology but also our perception of concepts such as science, innovation, leadership and status? Apart from that, I am eager to share my experience in diversity management in corporate and academic settings, getting in touch with other experts to exchange best practices.
